2011 Special Service Rifle Matches 

Twin City CMP SIG will be holding Springfield/Vintage Rifle Matches as follows: 

May 21st (Saturday 9:00 am First Round Down Range) CMP Sanctioned bolt rifle and Garand
Dec 17th (Saturday 10:00 am First Round Down Range) CMP Sanctioned bolt rifle and Garand

Rules:  Current CMP rules will govern the match

Each match will consist of three stages, as follows: 

5 sighting shots within 5 minutes will be allowed at the beginning of the match at 100 yards on the SR-1 target. 

1^st Stage         Slow Fire, prone, 10 rounds over 10 minutes, at 100 yards on the SR-1 target, single loaded.           

2^nd Stage        Rapid Fire, 100 yards, Prone from standing, 10 rounds for record fired in 70 seconds or less at 100 yards on the SR-1 target with one reload.

3^rd Stage         Slow Fire, Standing, 10 rounds over 10 minutes, at 100 yards on the SR-1 target, single loaded.

Firing times: Relay 1 will begin at 9:00 am with additional relays at 1½ hour intervals as needed.

Firearms allowed:  As-issued Service Rifle that comply with CMP Rule 6.2.4

Entry Fee: $15:00 - includes targets, score sheets and awards fee

Awards: Match Winner, High Slow Fire Prone, High Rapid Fire Prone & High Offhand
